Mystery Escape Room Aboard a Train, at BoulZeye Montreal

February 25, 1931, somewhere in Central Europe.

Aboard the legendary transeuropean train, the Budapest Express, you’re traveling with Karine Peaufiner, a renowned French detective from Paris. You’re headed to Budapest, where other investigators are set to brief you on the latest advances in crime scene identification.

A night that doesn’t go as planned

It’s nighttime, and the train is moving slowly through the heart of Europe, caught in a fierce snowstorm. In your cabin, you’re reviewing case notes with Karine and your colleagues when, suddenly, there’s a knock at the door. It’s the conductor and his face says this is not good news.

What was supposed to be a simple trip to a conference turns into a full-blown investigation. Clues, alibis, suspicious objects: you’ll need to put your observation skills and detective instincts to work to crack the case before the train pulls into the station. The countdown has begun.

An investigation worthy of the classics: Budapest Express immerses players in the hushed, 1930s detective-novel atmosphere of sleeper cars, snowstorms, and closely guarded secrets.
